Nico Rosberg won the 2016 Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, clocking a time of 1:55:48.950 and surviving a terrific comeback from Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo in the final few laps.

Rosberg also went on top of the Driver Championship with an eight-point lead over Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton who finished third.

Australian's Ricciardo looked set to edge Rosberg at the end with a final tyre change to ultrasofts but Rosberg held on to finish in first position. Hamilton did not have a great race but managed to finish third.

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen finished in fourth position but it was his teammate Sebastian Vettel who stole the show, finishing an impressive fifth after starting from the back of the grid.
