World No. 2 Andy Murray made easy work of Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut in the Shanghai Masters final on Sunday as the Scottish tennis player cruised to a straight sets 7-6 (7-1), 6-1 win.
The reigning Wimbledon and Olympic champion truly came into his element in the tie-breaker in the first set, winning seven points in a row. There was no looking back from there for Murray as he broke the Spaniard thrice in the second set to romp to a comfortable 6-1 win and lift his third Shanghai Masters title.
With the win, Murray cut World No. 1 Novak Djokovic's lead over him down to 915 points. This is the 29-year-old's sixth title this year and 41st tournament win, putting him level with Stefan Edberg in joint 15th place on the list of Open era title winners.
