The top story: KL Rahul has recovered from his forearm injury

Opener KL Rahul is all but confirmed to recover in time for the fourth Test against England, The New Indian Express reported.

Rahul has suffered a forearm injury during the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam but is now available to open in Mumbai, the report stated.

The opener had travelled to Mohali for the third Test, but was not picked in the playing XI after getting struck on the forearm during the practice session on the eve of the match.

Meanwhile, wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha has not recovered fully from a thigh-strain, the report added.

According to the report, Parthiv Patel, who replaced him in the third Test, has been retained for the Mumbai Test.

Ishant Sharma is also unavailable as he is due to get married on December 9. The report stated that Saha could also miss the fifth Test.
