The Indian cricket team shot to the top of the International Cricket Council Test Rankings after table toppers Australia crashed to a 0-3 series loss against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
India however could be displaced by Pakistan if they draw or lose the fourth and final Test match against West Indies in the ongoing series. India lead 2-0 and have already won the series.
India currently have 112 points, one point ahead of Pakistan's 111 who are in second place. Australia, with 108 points, slipped to third place as a result of their heavy series defeat
