Remember the ‘boy band’ Roger Federer started with fellow players Tommy Haas, Grigor Dimitrov in Melbourne during the Australian Open?
The trio had sung a rendition of Chicago’s 1982 song ‘Hard to Say I’m Sorry’, with producer and co-writer of the song David Foster, who is also Haas’ father-in-law, on the piano.

While the band’s first foray into the world of music may not have been successful – with Federer blaming bad acoustics and Dimitrov saying he didn’t know it would be a public show, the second coming has caused quite the stir.
During the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, the Swiss star posted another video on his social media accounts, assuring us that this time thee have their gears right.
Complete with good acoustics, synchronised singing, choreography, a little help from auto tune, oh and a guest appearance videobomb from Novak Djokovic no less, ‘The one handed Backhand Boys’ have a chartbuster on their hands.

And we must agree, the co-ordinated singing (or theatrics) seems to be much better than the attempt at the Australian Open.
The video came right after Federer got a bye to the Indian Wells semi-finals, after Nick Kyrgios pulled out with illness. The 18-time Grand Slam champ seems to be in a relaxed mood heading in to the match against Jack Sock.
