Australia is set to take on India in the final Test at Dharamsala on Saturday. With the pitch curator Sunil Chauhan promising a bouncy wicket, fast bowler Josh Hazlewood on Thursday said that the pitch will deliver a result at the end of the Test and won’t end in a stalemate.

“I think the wicket will determine a result,” he said. “They need to win so the wicket they serve up will bring a result into the game,” said Hazlewood.

Hazlewood added that the pressure is on the hosts and Indian skipper captain Virat Kohli. “The pressure is firmly on them,” Hazlewood said. “We can draw it but we obviously want to win it, win 2-1 and win a series in India which rarely happens.”

The fast bowler also said that Kohli was hurting even more because he had scored just 46 runs in five innings this series, compared to the terrific run he had against New Zealand, England and Bangladesh, scoring a double ton against all three. However, the fast bowler is aware that the Indian captain is just one innings away from a huge score. “For every time he doesn’t get runs, he’s closer to that big knock,” Hazlewood said. “Being a class player it’s going to be at some stage.”
