It was a mixed day of results for Indians in the ongoing tournaments at the ATP Challenger Tour. Yuki Bhambri advanced to the last-eight of the $75,000 Gatineau Challenger in Canada, while Saketh Myneni lost in the second round of the $125,000 Astana Challenger in Kazakhstan.

Bhambri led 7-6(1), 3-1 in his second round match against the third seeded Blaz Kavcic, who retired in the match midway in the second set.

This was Bhambri’s fourth win this season over the Slovenian, and he will now take on United States of America’s Alexander Sarkissian in the quarter-final.
