Marcus Stoinis hit an attacking half-century to help Australia beat the Indian Board President’s XI by 103 runs in their only 50-over warm-up match on Tuesday.

There were four half-centuries for the visitors including Stoinis’ 60-ball 76, enabling them to post a mammoth 347/7 after electing to bat first at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Left-arm spinner Ashton Agar then claimed four wickets to bowl out the Gurkeerat Singh-led side for 244 in 48.2 overs. Fast bowler Kane Richardson took two wickets.
