Patna Pirates continued to be unbeaten at home but failed to close down the game after surging ahead in the game early on. The Pirates tied with Bengal Warriors 37-37 on Sunday. This also happened to be the the second occasion this season that Patna crumbled against Warriors.

Pirates looked set to pocket their third straight win at home but their defence dramatically fell apart in the last couple of minutes, despite having a sizeable lead. The Bengal side, once again, showed tremendous grit to get back in the contest, just like they have on a number of occasions through the season.

Pirates’ Pardeep Narwal was once again in fine form, amassing 13 points while Monu Goyat picked up 11. Maninder Singh was inspiring form for the Warriors, getting 15 points on the board while Deepak Narwal added 10, all of which came from successful raids.
