Sachin Tendulkar vs Brett Lee was a battle almost every cricket fan thrived on. With Sachin’s timing, Lee’s aggression, it was always a feisty affair. They may not be playing now but they took their rivalry to a new playing ground - the race track.

The old rivals engaged in a battle off the field. Lee, who travels to India quite often, has admitted on numerous occasions that Sachin was one of the toughest batsmen to bowl to. However, it is not just on a cricket field that Sachin has got the better of Lee. The two went up against each other in a go-karting race in Mumbai, which was a sort of re-match from over a decade ago.

From what Lee recalls, “In 2006 Sachin took me karting late one night after a dinner at his then restaurant and beat me.” Terming it a ‘revenge’ re-match, Lee said “There is one thing on my mind for 11 years. Back in 2006, you tear me up here at the go-karting track. It has been weighing heavily on my mind, mate. So, I am back for revenge.”

And what an engaging contest it was.

Watch as Sachin and Lee drift and swerve to see who comes out on top in this epic showdown.
